A New Web Site Announced

During the September 21, 2002 Awakening Tribe meeting at Jan and Kay's house, Kay and Donna announced that a new web site, www.peterdialogs.com, is now available for the viewing of all.

Natural questions would be: "Why a new web site?" and "What's the difference between the Awakening Tribe Web site and this new one? This article will perhaps help resolve some confusion.

The difference is in the basic perspective of each site. This web site's focus has always been intended to be on the community known as The Awakening Tribe. It is a communal place where Tribe members and like-minded people can gather to share their ideas, philosophies, life stories, and anything else that matters to them in the moment.

Most Tribe members can trace their association with The Awakening Tribe to participation in communications with Peter and the Twelve Many Friends. That link between the Tribe and Peter/12 Many Friends is likely to continue in the future. However, the vision for The Awakening Tribe as a community is much more than that of an entity built around the narrow framework of a particular philosophy. And so, the new web site was born as home to the "narrow" teachings of Peter and The 12 Many Friends.

The Peter Dialogs site will focus on presenting the core knowledge provided by Peter and the Twelve Many Friends "on site," and offering even more to seekers in forms such as transcripts and audio, video, and CDs and/or tapes of Dialogs. Private sessions may be offered as well, although the form and format of that idea are still vague at this time.

Now, it should be noted that all web sites undergo a constant process of growth and development; some faster, some slower. At first, there will naturally be some duplication of content in both the Awakening Tribe and Peter Dialogs sites. However, as each site develops toward it's own individual goals and perspective, there will be a lessening of this duplication which will be evident in the due course of things.

One might note that there could be some interesting metaphors in all of this which pertain to the greater directions in which Humankind upon planet Earth moves. But that is subject matter better suited for other possible future articles.
