The Gathering of the Ways - Canyon deChelly 2000
When we got there, after a long drive through west Texas and New Mexico, we pitched our tents in the campgrounds near the Canyon DeChelly Visitor Center.
On the next day, we all met up at the nearby Holiday Inn to load up in the back of a vehicle called the UNIMOG for a tour of the Canyon.
At various points throughout the Canyon, the UNIMOG would stop so that we could climb down and follow our guides in short walks to views of interest.
The views in Canyon deChelly are BIG.
Here, Kay was particularly interested in the designs which adorned the canyon wall.
